Hi everyone!! 

This will be a blog about Latvia and their involvement in Eurovision! 

I was interested in looking more into specifically Latvia's performances in Eurovision, as their 2022 entry caught my attention and I wanted to see if there was a running theme of the country's past performances! I don't have too much background knowledge about Latvia or the other Baltic countries, which made me more excited to look into them! I tend to enjoy the Baltic country's submissions for ESC, so I'm hoping to have fun while researching more about them and the country!

National Identity and the 'Other' Latvia   has a distinguished national identity, and while it can be claimed to be alike other bordering countries, it is unique largely in the relationship it has with other countries and how it treats its minority groups.
